The Story of Matt des Arbres Battailles
I met Mattu at a kennels in Paris. I had a choice of 2 dogs and the way he walked was so powerful,it had to be him. We walked the streets of Paris for a year together, out all night in St Ouen and Porte de Clignancourt ! We moved to Nice,Mattu and I started working in Securite, Protector:Nice Diams:Cannes and finally Boss:Monaco. He protected my life against a handgun in the mountains, and again against two very disgruntled Italian brothers who thought about having a go....
Mattu was the first Rottweiler in France to return to the UK under the pet travel scheme in 2000. We came back to Newport,Wales and moved into my mothers house for 6 months where Mattu met his greatest friend Dolly the Jack Russell Terrier. Then we got out own appart,right next to Shaftesbury park, I calculated that I walked him [3 times a day] around 4,700 times around this park. I met my wife,she adored him and he her,we moved again and then,finally and with the greatest sadness, he passed away in 2005. I laid him out at the Funeral home for pets giving my dearest most wonderful friend a final kiss on the nose. His ashes we scattered in my garden......Thank You for Mattu,he taught me love.
